As a team member of a mixed active duty military, government civil servant, and contract training team provide instructional services to the U.S. Army Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE) ? Fort Lee, Virginia in support of Advanced Individual Training (AIT) and Initial Entry Training (IET) soldiers in the resident training courses required for the 94H Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Military Occupational Specialty (MOS). Prepare instructional programs in accordance with training or course requirements. Instruct students in the theoretical and practical aspects of instructional material. Utilize such teaching methods as individual coaching, group discussions, lectures, demonstrations, and conferences. Supervise practical work carried out by students, and assist them at points of difficulty. Test students to evaluate their learning progress and the effectiveness of instruction. Instructor must be Army MOS qualified DOD instructor experienced, and be able to train in two-shift operations. Summary of Essential Job Functions: ?Conduct conference/demonstration/practical exercises, to include course introduction, technical information delivery, hardware practical exercises, and various forms of computer-assisted instruction. ?Administer student written/practical examinations; evaluate student performance; conduct student critiques. ?Conduct student counseling (academic, non-academic) as necessary. ?Manage time and scheduling, etc. for correctness and completeness. ?Protect all classified information in accordance with DA SCoE policies and procedures. ?Adhere to personal conduct policies IAW TRADOC regulations 350-6. ?Provide classroom instruction and perform remedial training support while maintaining classroom control. ?Ensure equipment and instructional aides are available and functioning for classroom instruction. ?Ensure classroom is clean and ready for instruction and that classes start and end as scheduled. ?Regularly review course documents/POI/training aides for applicability; provide improvement recommendations. Minimum Requirements: ?Must be a U.S. Citizen, by either birth or naturalization. ?Must be able to possess a SECRET Clearance. ?Must be a former military professional with an honorable discharge. ?Must be familiar with basic electronic fundamentals, electronic troubleshooting and repair fundamentals related to Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment. ?Must have been awarded the MOS 94H MOS (or equivalent). ?Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively and clearly in the English language. ?Must have the physical ability to withstand long periods of standing or walking, and ability to use stairs. ?Must have the physical ability to lift and/or move equipment up to 45 pounds. ?Must be proficient in MS Office Suite and general desktop applications. Desired Qualifications: ?TRADOC (or equivalent) Senior or Master Instructor Certification. ?Active DoD SECRET Clearance Preferred. ?Measurable Experience Instructing Armed Forces personnel.
