A leading European investment bank is looking for a senior valuations manager to become a cornerstone of their high performing Singapore operation.
A top European investment bank have created a new role responsible for leading forward the rapidly expanding exotic rates valuations business in Singapore. The successful candidate reporting directly into the group head and lead a team of four analysts and two senior managers.
The group has ambitious development plans in 2012 and you will be key to the success of this expansion. You will maintain and drive strong relationships with current clients, keeping a constant dialogue as well as having daily interaction with global senior management.
You’ll have exposure to other areas of the bank, particularly risk, and be the lead contact for the valuations team in Singapore for the firm globally. It is expected that you will assist in mentoring junior analysts and be a key decision maker for the teams strategy moving through 2012 and beyond.
The successful candidate is likely to have the following skills:
• 6+ Years experience in Valuations
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Ability to confidently lead the team forward whilst deciding strategy
• Exotic rates background
• Masters in quantitative discipline eg. FinEng/Mathematics/Economics.
• Already on the ground in Singapore or willing to relocate.
