AA00866 – Junior Business Analyst, Corporate Trust Product Development

Our client, a leading European Investment Bank, is seeking a junior Business Analyst to join their Corporate Trust Services department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing business opportunities and products for Corporate Trust Services in the UK. You will focus on leveraging the existing products and services to internal and external clients in conjunction with the Client Development team. You will assist in the development on new products and services in order to deliver a positive contribution to the business. This role will include involvement in strategic planning and the delivery of agreed initiatives.
Duties/responsibilities:
- Assist with the modelling of structured finance transactions, adhering to the detail described in the official deal documentation, working jointly with other functional groups. Models are developed using one or a combination of MS Access, MS Excel, CDO Suite and Sentry PM.
- Produce high quality compliance report templates for new and existing clients in accordance with the governing documentation and client / investor demands.
- Ongoing review of local products/client solutions to maximise client service and productivity
- Participate in new/enhanced application testing prior to roll out
- Produce a comparison between Services Rates and Money Market Fund returns on a monthly basis
- Complete daily NIE and Securities Services Rate analysis
- Assist with the development of new local products/client solutions through pro-active market/client research and analysis
- Escalation point for fax server related issues outside of the BAU process
- Assist and provide cover to the Business Analysts for the maintenance and development of the CTS Business Development databases
- Assist with the completion of product approval procedures for new local products/client solutions
- Participate, and assist in the preparation of relevant meetings or workshops such as analytics planning meetings
- Act as delegate to the Business Analysts in times of absences in relevant meetings or workshops such as Projects Controls Committee, Information Security Oversight Committee, Business Continuity Management and IT Disaster Recover to ensure CTS has full representation
Systems used: i.e. Microsoft Office (Including Access), CDO Suite, Sentry PM, Crystal Reports.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- MS Access MS Excel with VBA programming skills
- A strong mathematics/computer science/IT background
Preferably you will also have the following skills:
- Knowledge of capital markets/securitisation
- Business French
