The Firm:
I’m currently assisting my client who is a Firm of Chartered Accountants made up of a Sole Practitioner and 4 staff, they are based in a lovely converted barn/ open plan office in Whitchurch. They are now expanding and looking for the 5th member of the team! The role is for an experienced AAT level Accountant/ Bookkeeper.
The Role:
The successful applicant will be AAT qualified/ finalist and will have had some years experience working in an accounting practice. They will be able to work on their own and be able to deal with clients' needs from bookkeeping, through PAYE/CIS and VAT to the preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts and statutory accounts.
Most of the work will be based in their offices, but there will be an amount of travel out to clients so a car is essential. They use Sage, Excel and Iris daily and you will work on clients up to £1 Mil turn over. There isn't an office structure as they are so small, but you will be reporting directly to the Partner and be able to hit the ground running.
