ACA/CIMA-Investment bank-FP&A equities role

My client, a major investment bank is looking for a candidate to join the financial planning and analysis equities finance team.

The Role:
You will be responsible for monthly financial reporting requirements and conduct monthly meetings with each of the business heads and their COOs, in addition to various ad-hoc projects. You will also be responsible for reporting on the Global Markets Admin business and the overview of forecasting for the main legal entities in the region, along with regular and ad-hoc legal entity reporting.

Other roles include but are not limited to:
• Work closely with the Global Markets finance team in the US
• Manage personnel resources both onshore and offshore to assist with required deliverables
• Monthly and ad-hoc reporting on this business to senior finance management
• Overview of legal entity forecasting
• Monthly and ad-hoc reporting on the financial performance of the entity
• Preparation and input of financial forecast and budget based on up to date information provided by business management
• Supporting the global and regional businesses during the budget cycle

The successful candidate will need the following skills, knowledge and qualifications:
• 1-3 years of relevant experience required
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA)
• Strong working experience in a top tier Investment Bank CFO Control or Planning function (e.g. Corporate Reporting / FPA)
• A well-recognised accountancy firm ideally with financial institutions experience
