JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Sales Academy was implemented to provide an opportunity for Sales Consultants to raise their level of expertise through learning new and advanced sales techniques. The Academy is a specialized team which will focus on continued post training sales development for our team players. The Academy Coach is a top performer/leader that will coach first Mortgage Sales Consultants on techniques and behaviors that will result in substantial and sustainable increases to sales conversion. The targeted coaching will use multiple methods including service observation, shadowing, reverse shadowing, call reviews, and one on one consultations. Group instruction will be required to teach a large range of techniques, theories, and best practices to Mortgage Sales Consultants. The coach position will also include Project Management and Marketing efforts that assist in the growth and efficiency of the Academy. In addition, the coach will provide Managers a high level overview of the Academy logistics and share the techniques which will allow them to reinforce the Academy?s curriculum after student graduation.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred. Candidates must be in 1st mortgage sales and in the top 20 percent of budget attained for their business unit over the past 6 months. Prior outside sales experience preferred. Leadership experience including coaching and developing team players is preferred. Experience presenting to groups a plus. Must have working knowledge of all PHH Mortgage products, U/W guidelines, and sales systems. Demonstrates strong leadership skills. Strong desire to see yourself and others succeed. Must possess and exemplify all MVPs on a consistent basis. Excellent interpersonal skills required in order to provide guidance, counseling, and direction to team players. Self starter that has the ability to lead while working under pressure in order to meet deadlines in a constantly changing environment. Strong attention to detail and communication skills (verbal and written) is required. Must possess exceptional organizational and time management skills. Must demonstrate excellent initiative and creative problem solving.
