ACA’s Insurance / Funds experience recruitment
Position Outline :
Contribute to the profit outcome and managed risk profile within the Financial Institutions Group for the Region.
Generic Responsibilities For This Role:
- Under the direction of the Team Head Associate Director, help implement the business strategy of FIG and the Funds Insurance team.
- Play a full and pro-active part in the achievement of the team's financial and operational targets.
- Support product development and analyse and report on the associated credit risk and structural issues.
- Ongoing credit risk management and monitoring and Anti Money Laundering and KYC requirements of the portfolio in line with relevant policies and procedures.
- To develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders, including external clients and all internal business partners.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrable experience working in the financial institutions sector in a banking, analytical, credit risk and finance/accounting capacity
- Experience of analysing and dealing with FI credit issues and drawing appropriate conclusions and communicating them clearly.
- Specific knowledge of and interest in the Insurance sector.
- Ability to produce credit analysis on insurance companies, identify and quantify key risks relevant to the bank's exposures and suggest suitable mitigants.
- Knowledge of banking products and services relevant to insurers.
