Account Manager / Team Leader - West - $90K + Car + Bonuses

Situated 15 minutes west of Melbourne's CDB (West) our client is recognised nationally as a premier supplier of raw materials to a range of industries from manufacturing to agriculture.
Our client has an existing customer base which needs to be further developed and maintained to a higher degree which involves solid account management. The portfolio is made up of clients from within the paper industry with a large focus on water treatment and detergents. This portfolio has been slightly neglected of late so this role will be solely focused on strengthening these relationships and increasing revenue.
The successful candidate will also have to mentor the existing team within this department to further their development and their industry knowledge. Once this has been established the role will then move nationally in respect to the portfolio and client base.
Chosen applicants will have:
• A background in sales and account management
• A solid background in raw material sales
• Great interpersonal skills
• Management experience (preferred)
• Open to interstate travel (not extensive)
• Experience in the paper industry is also preferred but not essential
Reporting to the State Sales manager you will primarily work from the office however travel to regional areas is also required in the initial stages of the role. This is an extremely diverse role where you will have the responsibilities of the team along with the portfolio which needs to be serviced and grown over time.
