Job Purpose:
Provides financial information to the organization by maintaining and reconciling accounts.  To ensure all aspects of the accounting and inventory processes to be accurate and efficient.

Duties:
* Maintains general ledger accounts by monitoring account preparation; entering amortizations of prepaid accounts; balancing job costs;  preparing monthly entries for fixed asset depreciation, accruals, amortization, and cost allocations;  balances bank statements monthly.

* Summarizes current financial status by analyzing general ledger accounts; compiling and submitting financial statements.

* Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

* Avoids legal challenges by complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements.

* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

* Provides financial information by answering accounting procedure questions; researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations; determining current charging of labor and materials.

* Conducts payroll weekly.

* Handles all accounts receivables and payables.

*Submits proper tax forms and payment requirements monthly.

* Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

*  Create the Bill of Materials for all new products

*  Maintain and update accurate costs for all existing Bills of Material

*  Review and approve all inventory adjustments that are processed

*  In charge of entire inventory process

*  Monitor product profitability and identify reasons for decrease in gross margin

*  Process all orders that are received

*  Spot check receiving procedures and make necessary recommendations for improvements

*  Review all purchase orders for inventory items for accuracy of cost and reasonableness of quality ordered

*  Schedule, perform and reconcile quarterly physical inventory counts

*  Establish stock re-order levels

*  Place all inventory orders with vendors

*  Maintain a file of competitive bids for raw materials

*  Offer suggestions to improve all cost accounting and inventory control processes

*  Perform other related duties as assigned including those specifically mentioned. When duties and responsibilities change and develop, the job description will be reviewed and subject to changes related to business necessity
