Account Administration Analyst recruitment

The GWP Account Administration Team supports UK based clients by providing exceptional administrative services. Account Administration Analysts must have a strong client oriented approach and will need to work closely with members of the Regional Processing Center (UK), Operations Service Center (UK) and SEI Private Trust Company (Oaks) to coordinate client activities. The Analyst should possess an understanding of the mutual fund and securities business and have a strong willingness to learn the investment management operations business. Career progression could range from Operations team leader, to service positions, product development roles, project management of new technology initiatives, as well as additional SEI Private Trust Company opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review, analyze, and enter client information and transactions into GWP in order to fulfill monetary and non-monetary requests for high-net-worth GWP client accounts.

• Interpret monetary requests to determine the correct course of action. This requires an understanding of the high net worth client’s goals and objectives as well an understanding of SEI’s guidelines and procedures.

• Processing of client instructions in relation to closing accounts and deceased processing.

• Determine the best course of action when a request is deemed “not in good order”. In many cases this discretionary decision dictates SEI’s level of responsibility should a dispute arise related to the action taken.

• Provide the highest level of quality possible when completing a client request.

• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and privacy.

• Quality Assure other Analysts’ work. Appropriately identify errors, provide feedback, identify trends and/or contributing factors, and recommend solutions.

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the UK market.

• Identify processing issues to ensure accurate completion of the submitted request and provide value added servicing.

• Develop a deep understanding of the current compliance related rules that govern the Financial Services Industry including but not limited to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Suspicious Activity.

• Research, analyze and resolve exceptions.

• Monitor various work queues and adjust resources as necessary to complete all items by internal and external cutoff times.

• Participate in departmental projects to improve the current processes and/or systems.

• Learn all facets of the Operation including new account set-up, distributions, receipts, trade processing, model changes, non-monetary account changes and monetary requests which include detailed multi-step processes.

• B.S/B.A. in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred
