Eaton Corporation located in Asheville, NC (Avery Creek) has an opening for an Account Coordinator. The primary function is to: - Fulfill order entry and order management related activities for electrical group component products, OEM Team. - Deliver exceptional Customer Service - Identify and implement process improvements Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: -Demonstrate the ability to professionally manage customer telephone calls and emails while performing other required tasks. -Respond to field sales and customer channel inquiries including price, lead time, selling policy. Do so in a manner consistent with established division profit, sales, and customer satisfaction objectives. -Provide solutions and alternatives to customers to meet their shipment needs. -Provide direction and solutions to other departments on process improvements. -Act as focus for field and customers in dealing with functional departments, i.e., engineering, manufacturing, marketing, logistics, and demand planning. -Coordinate order management functions including order entry, expediting, processing, maintenance, and status. -Demonstrate proficiency in multiple department support software (i.e. Vista, Mentor, etc) -Act as troubleshooter for all problems related to the sales order process. -Train peers and customers as appropriate. -Mentor, support, and training of outsource partners (LT). -Fulfill any and all Eaton Business System requirements. -Serve on special teams and projects to enhance EatonCare Team performance. -Work with appropriate finance teams to resolve customer credit requests. -Liaison between manufacturing locations and customers and field sales -Influence others on customer service behaviors -Mentoring new team members -Support and develop outsourcing initiatives -Identify solutions and resources for customers that may be outside of Eaton Electrical -Timely responses -Drive team process improvements including cost and time savings -Influence team strategic plan -Maintain records and historical data -Telephone Service Skills -High volume of out put -Support Eaton Growth initiatives -Complete Training Certification program -Participate in Customer site Visits -Partner with other customer service organizations to fulfill customer needs and drive process improvement -Work with team mates to accomplish all of the above Tools: -Vista -Microsoft Office (word, excel, email, internet) -Mentor, etc -CRM Position Criteria: -General Product Knowledge -Ability to interpret, understand and process customer order requirements -Customer Service Skills -Strong Communication Skills (Written and Verbal) -Business Acumen (Corporate structure, field sales, etc.) -Training others -Team Skills -Networking -Change and Adaptability BS/BA Degree from an accredited institution required. - Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
