JOB SUMMARY : The Account Coordinator is responsible for support and service to Medicare brokers and account executives in service center environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Establishes and maintains contacts with brokers to provide comprehensive support and provide education on Medicare Programs for all Health Net regions. Answers in-bound calls to resolve service issues and problems for brokers and broker's clients within established service standards. May also respond to e-mail, FAX or written inquiries. Informs brokers of new product development or contract changes. Manages broker licensing, appointments, contracts, and Department of Insurance terminations Assists with verification of broker of record changes. Works with Account Executives on broker issues and education. Maintains current information about benefits, administrative policies and regulations, and competitor's Medicare offerings. Maintains accurate files and legal documentation. Assists sales department as needed. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS : Education : High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred Certification/License: Arizona Accident/Health Producer and Life Producer insurance license issued by the DOI preferred Experience : Six months previous customer service experience with a proven track record, preferably in health insurance sales or service. Medicare experience is preferred. Knowledge, Skills Abilities : Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills Proficiency with computers and standard MS Office products, e-mail, and internet. ABS, CSI, MACESS, PEGA, and MP proficiency preferred. Good organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve goals OR Any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
