Account Development Representative Job in Ottawa K2K 3G1, Ontario Canada
We are currently looking for an Account Development Representative (ADR) who will be responsible for generating qualified prospects by contacting companies in Halogen’s target market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the ADR Manager, the ADR will be responsible to:
- Contact Human Resource contacts of target organizations.
- Identify prospects pains and effectively link pain to product benefit.
- Qualify prospect interest and engage in high-level strategic discussions pertaining to the prospect’s performance and talent management strategic plans.
- Engage with top decision makers, think out of the box, and schedule phone meetings for the Halogen sales representatives.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business, Marketing, English or other related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of telesales and/or other sales/marketing support experience.
- Previous experience working in a software / technology services company with exposure to a consultative sales process would be a definite asset.
- General knowledge of telesales practices and principles – ability to source and contact decision-makers in Halogen target market, and capable of making cold calls to promote Halogen products.
- Excellent telephone skills – 90% of the job is conducted on the phone. Solid interpersonal and communication skills – i.e. persuasive, tenacious, consultative, and ability to work under pressure.
