Account Director

  We are seeking to bring on board an Account Director to be a part of our growing multicultural team.  Position will report to a VP, Account Director.  


Account Management:

·         Manage the portfolio of large Telecom client, negotiate sponsorship opportunities, manage client and agency relationships, and align MC objectives with overall market objectives.  

·         Create and present dynamic presentations that effectively communicate media plans to our clients

·         Present data, insights and media strategy to clients aligned with their business goals

·         Draw actionable insights based off syndicated data, i.e. competitive, consumer etc.

·         Intimate knowledge of consumer touchpoints

·         Extensive knowledge of content and how to effectively align with consumer consumption

·         Create and evaluate Integrated Media Plans (GM with MC)

·         POV Creation: assess media opportunities and place appropriate value

·         Training/Support for Account Planners and Assistant Account Executives

 

Partner Agency Communications

·         Build relationships with partner agencies and sales reps to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles and ideas

·         RFP management – Tracking planned investment levels and communicating to key internal stakeholders

 

Reporting

·         Manage accuracy of buying and or trafficking specs and guidelines

·         Review, and verify with craft skills team that media buys are being properly executed

·         Manage accuracy and delivery of all required marketing reports are prepared and submitted on a timely basis, securing needed information from the craftskills teams and supervisor approval prior to published deadlines

·         Manage accuracy and delivery of all reports including: Weekly TV Highlights, Inappropriate Programming Summaries, Area Highlights, Print Positioning, Pod Positioning, Out of Home Audit Reports, and others as needed

 

Financial

·         Billing Management: monthly budget summary and monthly ‘true-up’ reports as needed

·         Manage internal budget financial forecasts when required

 

Applicant Requirements:

·         5+ Years of Experience (including 3+ year specifically on MC planning, primarily Hispanic) and Bachelor’s degree

·         Extensive knowledge of Hispanic consumer and marketplace

·         Buildable knowledge of African-American consumer and marketplace

·         Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills

·         Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PP, etc.)

·         Analytical thinker – Competent in mathematical concepts

·         Team Player – Ability to work as part of a team and have a willingness to contribute to other teams as needed

·         Problem Solver – Must be able to formulate solutions to media questions or problems.

·         Professional – Must be able to communicate and interact professionally whether in the office or attending an industry event
