Are Senior IT or Communications Sales person looking for a new challenge? Have you previously worked for a Tier One Vendor or Integrator?  This is a great opportunity to join a Leading Global vendor as a senior member of their sales team in Wellington. 

Having spent a minimum of ten years selling complex enterprise IT and/or Telecommunications solutions within the New Zealand Government marketplace you will have an established network of strong relationships. You will adept at creating and tailoring value propositions to a variety of audiences. You will be seasoned at identifying opportunities and experienced with managing pipelines and closing sales. 

This role is for a ‘hunter’ style senior sales professional with a proven track record of building strong relationships in New Zealand Government accounts and is responsible for all Avaya business in the NZ Government sector nationally and for driving significant growth in the sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for: developing a broad cross section of middle and senior level relationships with key recommenders and decision makers; Avaya sales opportunities; driving progress through the pipeline; and applying their knowledge of the territory to resolve customer business problems. The successful candidate will develop comprehensive account plans, build and maintain appropriate industry skills in order to advise prospective clients on Avaya solutions.

Ideally you will have experience with responding to tenders and negotiating large, complex contracts. Manages to a high level of client satisfaction.
