Account Director – Promotional Agency – Global Clients

To act as a member of the Agencies sales team with particular responsibilities for: Achieving Sales Targets
with both existing and prospective customers .Finding  establishing new customers .Providing superior
customer solutions to win business for the agency  create long term customer relationships to ensure repeat business is
generated. Manage sales funnel (pipeline) to ensure consistent sales every month Manage customer profile records to ensure development plans are followed Ensuring Customer satisfaction Ensure smooth relationships between sales and all other functions
Provide other assistance as and when required .The position involves duties essential to the growth of the company and requires a
talented individual with a full understanding of finding building strong customer relationships, design skills, sales and marketing with particular emphasis on “concept selling”. Whilst this specification summarises the main responsibilities of the position this

Account Director Responsibilities:
Responsible for the following activities: Researching new prospective Customers or additional divisions within existing Customers
Cold calling to fact find / set meeting appointments as appropriate .Making Customer presentations (both as meetings and group presentations)  Qualifying Customers as suitable – Mantra’s “what’s their world / Take a view” Designing products as
efficiently as possible e.g. existing samples / swatches .Specking of all products (drawn written) Proper briefing of
Project Managers to ensure accurate translation of Customer needs . Preparing quotations  order confirmations
Negotiation to close the order with “win/win” result.Communicating with Customer during every step of an order
Ensuring Customer understands payment terms and following up with customers (in conjunction with MaCher accounts receivable dept) where untimely payment occurs .Ensure Complete Customer satisfaction  

Skills Required:
Outstanding ability and drive to exceed sales targets
Minimum 3-5 years sales experience - Agency exp big plus
Disciplined in the process of identifying prospects and establishing relationships
Ability to source potential areas of business and define their need for our product
Superior ability to strategise and negotiate to win and close business .Ability to provide
ideas concepts tailored to meet clients’ promotional needs
Outstanding ability to communicate with internal and external Customers
Willingness to maintain and grow Customer base once established
Friendly, fun attitude - able to work as part of a team or autonomously
