Full Job Description
An excellent opportunity for a commercial Account Executive to join a company with stellar ambitions. With a desire to organically grow new talent within the business, my client is looking for the successful candidates to develop and enhance the existing skillsets of their teams.
Your main duties will typically be to:
- Proactively manage a portfolio of existing and new clients from across the south-west region;
- Develop the portfolio by undertaking new business - transfers from other Executives;
- Actively manage personal Diary;
- Achieve agreed retention-income levels;
- Act as the day to day contact for Commercial-Corporate clients;
- Act as a point of referral for more junior colleagues;
- Cross-Up Sell risk management services to existing and new clients;
- Provide accurate MI data for managers-directors;
The specific duties of this role will be dependent upon candidate experience.
My client is looking for a candidate who understands the Commercial-Corporate Insurance marketplace, with exposure to managing and developing relationships with clients at all levels, and who has a proven history within a Commercially focused role within insurance.
You will need:
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Honesty and integrity
- Organisation and attention to detail
- Drive and motivation, for meeting targets
- The ability to gather and analyse information
- Good business sense
- Confidence in making presentations and networking
- The ability to manage large budgets and contracts.
With offices throughout the UK, my client is an independent brokerage with specialist knowledge improvising insurance for leisure, property owners, management liability, financial institutions, construction, motor trade and high net worth insurance.
Salary £35,000 - £45,000 (dependent upon experience) + competitive benefits package
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
