Clear Channel Outdoor seeks an Account Executive for our local Out of Home media sales team in the Cleveland Metro area.
DESCRIPTION:
In this position, you will manage a full line of outdoor advertising products throughout an assigned territory by implementing cutting edge technology and launching “Digital” billboard structures in the advertising market. This would include market analysis, prospecting, cold calling, presenting campaigns to clients, negotiating to close sales contracts and implementing advertising campaigns.
RESPONSIBILITES:
· The first and highest in priority for an Account Executive is to create demand for Clear Channel Outdoor (CCO) products.
· Responsible for new business development through prospecting/cold calling local, regional and national businesses to generate leads.
· Develop partnerships and marketing strategies with key clients.
· Analyze client’s current marketing strategy and recommend customized solutions through outdoor advertising by designing a creative campaign based on individual needs
· Educate prospects so they recognize the return that our products offer, generating new customers and growth of current customers.
· Provide service excellence• Facilitate, implement, and manage all aspects of the customer's account, from creative to on-time production to invoicing and collections.
· The Account Executive ensures execution and is the single point of contact for the account.
· Track current market trends in advertising and communications.
· Provide prompt, proactive post-sale support, information, and follow-up including proof of
performance, assessing campaign results, etc.
· Cross sell into Clear Channel Malls, Taxi and Bus/Train shelter divisions.
· Be the customers' advocate and represent their best interest.
· Be an ambassador for the company, accountable to the customer for all company performance and to represent the company/policies in the best light. Every contact with the customer brands the company.
· Support the goals and strategy of the company and the division, ensuring that every agreement with the customer is a win/win situation.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
· Bachelor's Degree is preferred
· 2-3 years sales experience required
· 2 years cold calling experience preferred
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work independently
· Proven time management skills
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record
