Job Description
The job holder is responsible for overseeing the handling of both external and internal requests on documents retrieval and audit confirmation. The scope covers the entire end-to-end operational documents from account opening, account maintenance, service requests to account closure for various products. The job holder also acts as risk representative (RP) of the Department and manages a team of 20 in HK.
Key Roles Responsibilities
- Execute strategies and policies laid down by management including the assurance of effective efficient daily routine, centralization of processing functions, process streamlining re-engineering.
- Ensure effective operational support and service standards being in place for all events.
- Maintain good control of all kinds of expenses and exercise prudent management of cost and resources control within the department.
- Act as coordinator for the Business Continuity Plan; ensure sufficient back-up procedures and resources in place, both for the HK Operations Team as well as the processing hubs.
- Adhere to all policies and guidelines as laid down in Group Operational Risk - Policy and Procedures Manual. Special attention to be paid to Key Risk Indicators and Key Control Self Assessment reporting.
- Coach and lead the team and ramp up their skill sets.
Qualifications Skills
- Solid experience in the retail banking industry
- With university degree qualification
- Back Office experience an advantage
- Knowledge in the Banking operations
- At least 5 years of experience in team management
- People oriented and willing to take up new challenge
