Sales, Marketing and Account Management:  Practice Development

We are currently seeking a “Practice Development Specialist” to promote our non-invasive aesthetic treatment technology to plastic surgeons and cosmetic dermatologists.  This person will be heavily involved with key clinician customers while collaborating with functional practice to patient marketing.  The goal of this position is to grow existing relationships with key clinicians and build brand and product knowledge in the marketplace in order to grow sales in the area of the disposable (transducer) component of the product.

Requirements:

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required with a focus in clinical health care or business highly preferred.  MBA or MSN highly desired

Minimum of 3 years professional sales and/or marketing in medical device/healthcare/pharmaceutical industry required.

Extensive healthcare customer (physician, nurses, practice specialist) experience is required and experience collaborating, partnering and influencing behavior is also required

Direct Creation of tools, processes and programs designed to drive effective and efficient marketing efforts at an owner-operator business level is highly desired.

High level of computer proficiency is required with direct understanding or ability to learn the basics of graphics programs (Adobe Illustrator) is a must

Strong understanding of corporate, clinical and regulatory processes

A successful person in this role will also be organized, process-oriented, goal oriented with the poise and ability to tactfully change behavior and challenge the status quo.  Presentation skills and the ability to influence decision makers are key elements to success in this position.  Knowledge or experience in aesthetics would be helpful.  This position does require the ability to travel extensively which will depend on the region and objectives.

Job Description:

·         Primarily responsible for driving technology utilization by identified key customers within a specific regional geography

o        Measured by procedural growth and transducer (disposable) utilization

o        Measured by successful  integration, implementation and performance tracking of patient promotion programs

·         Territory management activities, including but not limited to:

o        Account Management

§         Ensuring overall high customer satisfaction

§         Performing (or facilitating, as indicated) system in-servicing and user-level technical support

§         Collaborating with customers for optimized inventory levels and ordering norms

§         Ulthera database management owner (salesforce.com) for specified accounts

§         Ensure accounts are aware of and integrating new clinical and marketing programs and resources

o        Practice Marketing

§         Train practice management personnel on available tools and resources

§         Review photography process; assist in improving pictures (before after) and securing consents to use for marketing purposes

§         Review patient satisfaction levels; assist in encouraging (optional) participation in corporate-sponsored tracking programs; use the data to drive demand / fine tune areas in need

§         Review practice integration of technology and how it  fits/can be packaged with other offerings

§         Provide on-hand assistance with special practice promotion events

§         Liaison with Ulthera Consumer Marketing group to rollout new initiatives

§         Assist the practice in adaptation and utilization of corporate-supplied templates and tools 

o        Product and Clinical Support

§         Clinical coaching

§         Patient consultation coaching

§         New Indication Training

§         Gauge account activities
