Account Manager – Official Institutions Group(OIG) recruitment

Role Description:
BlackRock's dedicated Official Institutions Group (OIG), specializes in servicing the investment, risk management and advisory needs of the firm's OIG clients world-wide. As of September 30, 2011, BlackRock managed over $200 billion across central banks, sovereign wealth funds, supranationals, and government agencies. In addition, BlackRock provides risk and advisory services in excess of $2 trillion on behalf of OfficialInstitutions world-wide.
Responsibilities:
- Named Account Manager (AMR) for approximately 15-20 clients and prospects in continental Europe
- Fostering and advancement of OIG business agenda in close collaboration with OIG and local leadership
- Proactively identify opportunities and deliver BlackRock's OIG value proposition to achieve Trusted Adviser Status
- Build and execute high level development plans for clients that translate in to revenue growth
- Cross selling of products and services relevant to OIG clients
Qualifications:
- Proven industry experience, including a deep understanding and familiarity with official institutions in Europe
- Consideration will be given to canddiates currently working for a central bank or sovereign wealth fund
- Deep capital markets knowledge
- Extensive experience in sales and servicing of institutional clients. Capable of fostering deep relationships across decision and policy makers:
- Central Banks
- Sovereign Wealth Funds
- Supra-nationals
- National Pension Schemes
- European language skills
- Team player with experience in forging strong internal partnerships
- Close collaboration with OIG leadership, globally
