Account Manager –UK Institutional – Vice President recruitment

Objectives:
First point of contact for the day-to-day delivery of all services to a portfolio of clients
Work alongside Account Manager – Relationship (AMR) in their work in developing the client relationship
Role Description:
Understands the Prime client service model and takes responsibility for delivering to a portfolio of clients a high quality service offering that is in line with the service model.
Responsible for client and consultant queries, delegating to appropriate internal teams, monitoring progress to resolution and ensuring that responses are timely and of a high quality
- Builds and executes service plans for a portfolio of clients and anticipates client issues ahead of time
- Partners with other internal areas of BlackRock, in particular Client Operations and Portfolio Management Group, to achieve effective outcomes
- Escalation/resolution point for outstanding servicing issues
- Plays an active role in Service Champion initiatives
- Partners with AMR to deepen relationship with field consultants
- Responsible for ensuring client records and activities are kept current on Spectra
- Gathers and passes on information from consultants and clients to support sales planning/lead generation
Individual Profile:
- Relevant experience
- Demonstrated aptitude for building service oriented relationships
- Able to analyse client servicing needs and work with BlackRock teams to provide resolution
- Strong results-focus and process skills
- Excellent team player
- Well grounded in understanding investment/products and the operational framework in which they exist
- Highly proficient in using all relevant internal systems
- IMC essential
- Investment consultancy background preferred
