ACCOUNT MANAGER – AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLIER

We are helping our client, a leading global manufacturer of electronic devices, to find an experienced Account Manager to help support their growth, for their Metro Detroit, Michigan office. They are expanding their business and need a top-notch Account Manager with a technical aptitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibility – successfully managing commercial programs. 

 

Provide support to the Sales Managers and Senior Leadership Team as required in the strategic planning process. 

 

Lead the development of business strategies to ensure the company is able to achieve the retention of existing programs and awarded new programs. 

 

Provide timely quotations and successfully negotiate all elements of the quote package. 

 

Support successful product launches and engineering changes. 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Bachelors degree in engineering highly preferred

5+ years electrical/electronics account management experience

Knowledge of OEM processes and business practices related to engineering and product launch – GM highly preferred

 

Knowledge of automotive electromechanical devices

 

Ability to travel 20% domestically and internationally to customer and manufacturing locations

 

Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining customer relations with a positive and professional demeanor

Excellent written and oral communications skills – typos r know good

Good working knowledge of MS Office.

 

COMPENSATION

 

Base Salary of $80,000-$90,000, based on experience

Performance-based Bonus Program
