Description

Provides in-depth daily customer service including problem resolution in a timely manner to designated external customers, through extensive phone interaction and personal visits. Foster and maintain customer relationships by providing in-depth daily customer support, including problem resolution in a timely manner, help customers work effectively with Pershing, communicating internal and external change, and attracting new incremental revenue with designated external customers through extensive interaction and personal visits. Incumbent demonstrates superior performance with the firm's first customer asset tier class or similar performance in the industry. They will require minimal supervision. These AM's support the firm's 2nd highest customer asset tier. Provides in-depth daily customer service including problem resolution in a timely manner to designated external customers, through extensive phone interaction and personal visits. Maintains all client relationships to accounts in accordance with all applicable regulations and Pershing policies. Provides product knowledge and technical assistance as necessary. Informs correspondents of new products/systems to maintain and increase revenue stream. Resolves high-level problems and issues complaints. Provides exemplary customer service and that all issues are resolved completely, properly and in a timely fashion. Executes all correspondent requisitions and issues in a timely and accurate manner with a good understanding of the underlying business and specific customer needs. Assists relationship managers with new prospects and when signing new businesses or pursuing incremental revenue opportunities. Maintains open lines of effective communication with both internal and external customers. Assists in determining financial impact and re-price existing correspondents, balance and reconciliation of month-end reports. May travel on business 20% - 40% of the time.

Bachelor s degree in a related field with 2 to 5 plus years of experience in the financial services industry; Series 7 license required within one year of employment or assignment to this position. Ability to develop and maintain an affective working relationship with clients. Strong product knowledge. Strong negotiation, decision making, problem solving and analytical skills. A professional and courteous manner when interfacing with all internal and external customers. Ability to uphold and practice the highest code of ethical standard and conduct. Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a high-pressure, high volume environment. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to complete platform presentations in front of large groups. Ability to think independently, to be self-motivated and acquire new skills and knowledge. Ability to understand and explain all aspects of the Standard Pricing Agreement and to balance and reconcile month-end reports. Strong Technical skills, working knowledge of WEB based products/technologies. Knowledge of policies and procedures for IRA, Margin, ACAT s, COD, Custody Tax Reporting. Extensive experience with (or possess the ability to quickly learn) in-house Pershing systemsP. PC skills: Microsoft Office, Database management experience.
