Account Manager

Our client is a leading supplier of quality furniture hardware products with innovative features and value added benefits. It is a subsidiary of one of the largest furniture fittings manufacturers in the world.

The position

A position is now available to capitalise upon the sales growth recently generated on this traditionally well established and successful sales area.

The area stretches across the North East and includes Yorkshire, Cleveland, Tyne Wear.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this position will assume responsibility for managing existing sales and new business development. You will be part of an external sales team of 14.

Experience required.

The position needs a background in sales of mechanical components for furniture or genaral manufacturing. The product range is over 12,000 items so experience with equally large ranges is required. Experience of the kitchen, bedroom bathroom sectors would be good!

You will also be enthusiastic, focused and able to work well within a team; as well as being a strong communicator and well organised.

As the role is a mixture of existing account management and new business development; you should have entrepreneurial ability.

Extensive training will be provided.

The role is based from home - ideally based within 30 miles of Leeds.

Remuneration

There ia a competitive basic salary plus commission system that will pay a total between £40/45,000.
