Account Manager

This well established not-for-profit provides a range of professional services and products to a growing national customer base. With a strong commitment to best practice and ethical conduct, this organisation partners with professionals to provide legal and industry advice, advocacy and financial support. With a dedicated national sales and marketing division this organisation has a defined growth strategy and is now seeking an account management specialist to help realise these sector specific goals.

Your role will be to forge new partnerships and nurture existing relationships with the specific remit of increasing member numbers within target sectors. You will attend trade shows and industry events, work with sponsors and partner organisations and present to potential new member groups in order to build and strengthen the business’ brand profile. Your territory will involve some interstate and regional travel and exposure to a diverse range of stakeholders.

For this role we are looking for the X-factor! Experienced in sales or account management, you will be confident presenting to groups, collaborating with sponsors and promoting your value proposition to a broad customer base. You will hold responsibility for account planning and development and your innovative solutions for building the new membership base will be welcomed. Your proven success within a similar role will be essential and your engaging communication style see you succeed in a competitive industry sector. This is a position that will best suit a flexible working approach and will require some work outside of standard business hours. Prior experience within a health, education or membership based context will be advantageous.

A full Australian driver’s license and vehicle will be required for this position.
