Account Manager

Our client, a leading provider of intelligence reference data, is currently looking for an Account Manager to join their Sales Team. Reporting to the Sales Manager – Strategic Accounts and working as part of an award-winning sales team, you will nurture, retain and grow a portfolio of existing subsidiaries within our client's strategic accounts, whilst building excellent customer relationships. You will also identify new markets within existing strategic accounts to increase penetration of products and services.

You will be aligned to one of the Strategic Account Managers and their portfolio of accounts and will maintain regular contact with customers by phone to build relationships and to better understand their business, goals and requirements in order to provide the appropriate solutions.

This role is predominantly office based, and will contact customers worldwide to either personally close the sale over the phone (using web-based tools to demonstrate the solutions) or book an appointment for the SAM to attend a face-to-face meeting.

This is a great opportunity for the right person to join a successful international sales team in a new role. The role is based in East Grinstead with the potential for occasional travel.
