Posted Position Title: Account Manager - Fargo, ND Career Level: Entry-Level Function Sales Function Segment: Client, Account and Affiliate Origination and Management Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: North Dakota Relocation Assistance No Role Summary/Purpose: The Account Manager - Fargo, ND will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. In this role, you will: Essential Responsibilities - Primarily focus on selling water processing solutions and products to prospects and customers and to maintain customer accounts - Actively listen to prospects and customers needs and provide effective technical service to resolve issues and inquiries - Drive growth by continuously creating and selling value propositions for an assigned account base that focuses on our competitive advantage while leveraging our broad product portfolio - Participate in collecting and testing water samples on site and analyze results to provide recommendations to improve quality of treatment - Serve as a knowledge resource to customers using GE technology to solve identified water treatment needs - Partner across functionally within GE to optimize our solutions offering - Develop a plan to effectively meet sales targets by meeting or exceeding key metrics for revenue, account retention, profitability - Learn and maintain awareness of all safety and environmental practices - You will have an assigned fleet vehicle to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job - Be able to maintain compliance with all company safety and environmental practices Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry or related discipline - Minimum of 3 years of industry experience ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS : - Ability and willingness to travel as required for training, and customer sales and service Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
