Account Manager - Technical Sales

 

Neff Engineering, an industrial automation distributor for fluid power, pneumatic and electrical products, seeks an experienced technical sales person. 

 

Neff’s Account Mangers, Applications Engineers,  Product Managers and Customer Service Representatives work together, to deliver a total customer package with unbeatable features: high quality products and solution driven designs customized by automation experts and serviced by an experienced Inside Sales staff.

 

It takes more than motivation and effort to be successful in sales.  You need a great product, a wide and deep customer base, broad enough to cross industry lines and deep enough to beat the competition.  You also need fantastic technical support.  Neff offers that package to its sales professionals and to its customers.  

 

Since our customers include manufacturers, OEMs and integrators and so many different industries, every sales day is different, with new markets, potential for new applications and new challenges.  If you enjoy mechanical puzzles, developing solutions and streamlining industrial processes, this is your job.

Neff Compensation:  Base Salary with Performance Driven Incentive Pay, Profit Sharing, and Bonus potential.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Identifying new business opportunities with new and existing customers

·         Developing key relationships with customer decision makers

·         Developing an understanding of customers’ business goals and challenges

·         Applying products and creating solutions to meet or exceed client’s needs

·         Servicing and retaining existing business within assigned territory


Candidate Requirements:

1.      An Associate or Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Technology or a related field, or the equivalent in technical or sales experience.   

2.      A strong analytical and entrepreneurial approach to sales

3.      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

4.      Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.  

5.      The ability to manage multiple projects and allocate time accordingly
