Account Manager
IMMEDIATE HIRE: for an Account Manager to grow existing and develop new business at Aerospace, Automotive, and Industrial accounts for Steel-based Operations for clients west-coast plants. Ideal candidate will have 3+ years heat treat, or metals background from their Los Angeles CA facility. This is a Direct Hire position and prefer candidates from Southern California. Responsibilities
- Manages relationships and customer retention for accounts plus some Key Accounts to cultivate new business opportunities, expand customer base and explore new markets
- Develop new Aerospace and Defense accounts and develop new heat treat business within those accounts
Requirements
- PLUS: BS degree in Metallurgy, materials science, or other related field
- 3+ years in sales, plant or general management with experience in heat treatment of aerospace alloys
- Able to interact effectively and cultivate blue chip type customers and technical staff. This group would include OEM’s, Tier 1’s and 2’s
- Demonstrate good judgment in fostering positive customer relationships. Strong advocate for the quality our products and services. Possess ability to maintain a high level credibility, and be sensitive to customer needs
- Be self-motivated, achievement driven, yet tactful, diplomatic and patient when handling customer complaints/concerns with a strong commitment to ethics
