Account Manager

Account Manager is responsible for Industry Division revenue growth and gaining high customer satisfaction/loyalty with Industry Division customers . The Account Manager’s primary responsibilities are to produce revenue and building enduring customer relationships through account penetration and saturation.

 

Essential Work Elements

 

·         Proactively manage account portfolio that generates revenue from staffing services and solutions.

·         Prospect for new business opportunities through networking, developing and expanding relationships in customer accounts, and cold calling.

·         Create and maintain pipeline to comfortably achieve revenue goals. Meet biweekly with the Division VP to demonstrate progress toward meeting sales goals, probability to close accounts and activity levels

·         Marketing/BD to include daily cold calling and in person customer appointments to uncover opportunities and build relationships in target accounts

·         Facilitate customer meetings at the appropriate level for Senior Management for sales and relationship building

·         Develop marketing plans to ensure regular communication with target accounts

·         Ensure customer satisfaction in customer accounts, weekly customer and employee visit or calls

·         Maintain pricing, profit and gross margins in line with Division goals. Negotiate rates in line with established pricing guidelines

·         Manage staffing projects

·         Manage employees assigned to AM accounts and ensure any issues are identified and mitigated proactivelyPrepare high quality capability presentations and RFP responses for customers

·         Actively participate in sales and status meetings

·         Manage customer job order process inclusive of screening recruiter submittals; presenting candidates to customer and negotiating candidate pay and bill rates

·         Participate in daily meetings to update division team on status, new opportunities and priority settings

·         Ensure all paperwork associated with candidate engagement is completed and submitted to appropriate back office personnel as required inclusive of contact documents and timesheets

·         Close out job orders and assist in management of resources for re-deployment as necessary

·         Provide assistance to recruitment staff as needed to facilitate accurate sourcing for customer requirements

·         Document all activity in GCS Taleo software

·         Assist in management of accounts receivable for customer accounts

·         Document sales activities in GCS contact management system

·         Conduct thorough needs analysis and document results in customer profile

·         Special projects or other duties as assigned

 

Position Requirements

 

Basic Requirements

·         3+ years experience in the staffing industry selling staff augmentation services required

·         Advanced knowledge of the sales process, marketing, networking and customer relations required

·         Understanding of pricing methodologies and gross margin calculations required

·         Strong account penetration and business presentation skills required

 

Additional Requirements

·         Bachelor’s Degree preferred

·         Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to establish and build relationships

·         Strong record of meeting targeted sales goals

·         Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple priorities

·         Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

·         Ability to travel to potential client and/or current client sites
