Account Manager

An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join an international Foreign Exchange Company in the heart of the City of London. Our client are looking for a driven, professional Account Manager to both maintain and develop existing and new clients to generate business/revenue.

Based in a growing office in a fantastic location, our client is one of the world's largest online Foreign Exchange companies, offering competitive rates, excellent new technology and a superb customer service. It is the drive to improve this service offered to customers that has led our client to search for a new recruit.

You will be responsible for generating new business by contacting clients who have shown an interest in the products on offer (no cold calling!) and ensuring all needs and expectations are met throughout the working relationship, until deals have been concluded. You will be targeted on the quality of your work and your conversion rate, so attention to detail and your work ethic are important tools to help you to succeed.

You do not need to have any working experience in the Foreign Exchange market, as full training on products and jargon will be provided. However, it is essential that you have an interest in FX products and are able to speak confidently about the market, as your enthusiasm will help to secure client buy-in. Previous experience of managing client accounts is essential to be considered for this position, as an articulate telephone manner and client-focused attitude will ensure you thrive in the role.

Generic Responsibilities:

- Contacting registered clients and setting up new accounts
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Proactively employ follow up techniques to maximise conversions
- Quote and confirm spot and forward FX trades with private clients by phone
- Handling customer enquiries both online and by phone ensuring a high level of customer service
