Account Manager
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Meteorological Research and Development, ICT, Forecasting, Sales and Marketing teams to
- Develop actionable sales campaigns
- Recommend new products or improvements to current products
- Identify and pursue key market opportunities
- Aggressively follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
- Produce status reports for Management on the ‘state of the market’, including information for quarterly board reports
- Keep up to date with new technical trends in key markets
- Establish and maintain strong current client relationships
- Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up activities
- Identify and resolve client concerns
- Participate in marketing events such as conferences and exhibitions
- Maintain a buoyant sales pipeline
Requirements:
- Bachelors or advanced degree in the sciences and/or business
- At least 5 years sales experience
- Expert in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Hold or be eligible for a valid passport
- Based in the NYC metro area
- Verifiable, successful sales track-record
Preferred Requirements:
- An understanding of meteorology and climatology
- Experience in the energy sector

Travel:

This position will require up to 40% travel. Some international travel may be required.
