Account Manager for Europe, Middle East, and Africa recruitment
The ideal candidate has experience selling research and analysis products to financial institutions such as asset management firms, hedge funds, investment and commercial banks, and government institutions amongst others.
The successful candidate must demonstrate creative and strategic capabilities and clear expertise in account management. The successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be hardworking and entrepreneurial. A thorough understanding of the financial industry or information market is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing a long-term client base in the EMEA region, while growing revenue with sales of new/incremental products
Developing a set of relationships at CEO, VP, and Director levels within customer organizations to support account strategy
Executing a comprehensive and achievable strategic plan for target client accounts to grow usage, upsell, and make RGE an integral part of their research process
Overseeing and managing all financial aspects of client relationship
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of account management experience selling research, market data, digital media (or similar products) to financial institutions
- 5-7 years work experience preferred
- Fluency in languages of the regions is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with the EMEA market is a plus
- Verifiable above-plan performance over multiple quarters
- Solid career growth with a stable job history
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Good attention to detail
- Self-motivated, competitive, and upbeat attitude with a drive to succeed
- BS required
