Account Manager – Front office Cash Equities and Derivatives in recruitment

Global leading software company is looking for an Account Manager with a personality to deliver quality and professional services to their clients. They are one of the largest software providers in the industry for front office technology in Cash Equities and Derivatives. Successful candidates will get to gain exposure in this customer centric role. This global company has a presence in major financial hubs such as Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, London and more. This role will be based in Tokyo, Japan.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•Build relationships with clients – be the first point of contact for clients.
•Handle projects from end to end as the contact point and also handle the coordination between the internal IT parties.
•Be able to prioritise requirements, influence stakeholders and show initiative to provide first class service to clients.
•Providing advice to clients on technical issues and come up with alternative solutions to ensure smooth delivery of project.

Pre-requisites:
•Strong communication skills in Japanese, spoken and written.
•You should also be able to adapt well in a Japanese working environment. Nevertheless, they are a global company, and you are also required to work well with counterparts in New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, London etc.
•Good communication skills in English.
•Proven track record of working in a client facing role, or have experience with account management or relationship management.
•Knowledge in Cash Equities and equity derivatives.
•Good experience in Front office environment.
•Candidates should be analytical, resourceful, motivated and a team player. As the role is very client facing, candidates should come across personable and impressionable.
