THE REQUIREMENTS * Serve as primary field management contact at assigned locations and accounts. * Responsible for all contractual obligations with assigned locations and accounts. * May be primary national contact of the assigned accounts responsible for authority on agreements with these accounts. * Solicit new business at assigned accounts. * Organize "call schedule" to maximize sales and reduce expenses. * Arrange and conduct presentations on new products and services. * Responsible for informing assigned locations and accounts of all Graybar products and services. * Recommend changes to Graybar and customer's processes to drive down costs. * Present customer needs and concerns to appropriate field management personnel. * Attain, or assist location to exceed, sales and profit budgets. * Perform other duties as assigned. SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Experience: Five or more years progressively responsible sales, marketing, and/or operating experience. Previous Account Representative experience preferred. Knowledge: Prior knowledge of sales, marketing, and operating processes preferred. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to make oral and written presentations to internal and external contacts. Good oral and written communication skills. May require onsite customer visits. NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; Some overtime required (Note: The normal work schedule may vary depending on location.)
