What You’ll Do

Sentry will look to you for taking charge of implementing market strategies to achieve new goals and objectives.  In addition you’ll:

·          Promote profit and growth within chosen focus markets by meeting objectives in the following areas: PC new business production, retention, quality presentation goals, focus market prospect lists, product penetration, Life insurance production, Group Ancillary Products, Pension production, and Deere Dealer Products

·          Services focus market dealers by assuring timely, accurate and quality surveys are submitted to the appropriate office.

·          Collects delinquent premiums as assigned.

·          Maintains satisfactory expense control as designated by company goals.

·          Maintains state licensing requirements.

·          Improves overall job knowledge by participating in company meetings and functions.

·          Participates in outside studies to improve skills, i.g. CIC and continuing education coursework.

·          Performs other job-related duties requiring the same general knowledge, skills and degree of responsibility commensurate with assigned level.

 

What it Takes

·          Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.

·          2-5 years of related work experience

·          General knowledge of selling techniques and previous sales experience preferred.

·          Background in technical insurance beneficial.

·          Dealer Operations Focus Markets is strongly preferred

·          Licensed or able to become licensed within a specified period of time, varying by state and must comply with the continuing education requirements of the state(s) they are licensed in.

·          Ability to meet travel requirements of this job.

·          Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and valid driver’s license if assigned a company car.
