The Mechanical Analysis Division (MAD) of Mentor Graphics (formerly Flomerics and Flowmaster) provides the world's most advanced computational fluid dynamics and thermo-fluid system simulation products. Our simulation software and consultancy services eliminate mistakes, reduce costs, and accelerate and optimize designs involving heat transfer and fluid flow before physical prototypes are built.
For our office in Frankfurt we are seeking an
Account Manager
Job Requirements:
- Negotiate and obtain orders (prices, deliveries, technical, and commercial conditions) and provide information on contact to Headquarters
- Serve as personal liaison between client and customers on an operational and strategic level
- Organize the appropriate support in order to secure existing business and continuously grow it
- Detect new opportunity trends and requirements; investigate them, and if appropriate, develop them with Product Marketing
- Demonstrate the company’s commitment to the industry and further build up company’s reputation
- Help in defining and actively pursuing active and target account strategies
- Increase penetration and market share at targeted accounts
- Report relevant market situations directly to management
- Use comparative analysis and prepare weekly forecasts
Job Qualifications:
- Experience in the Fluid Systems Design and / or Mechanical Design Automation world and ideally in selling CAE/CFD solutions within larger accounts with several years sales experience
- B.Sc. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or similar/related field
- Sensitiveness for customer needs, uses diplomacy
- Convincing, assertive, attentive and persevering
- Can communicate on different levels within the key account organizations
- Establishes and nourishes contacts on all appropriate levels
- Ability to identify opportunities, suggest and follow-up on them
- Driver capability and self starter
- Good presentation and negotiation skills
- Very good German and English skills are required
