Job Opening for Maintenance Account Manager in Houston, TX

 

Position Description:
We currently have an opening for a full-time Maintenance Account Manager. This position will oversee all operations including labor, equipment, customer service, safety and administrative functions for their assigned clients. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and have a strong work ethic. They are proactive leaders who enjoy interacting with the customers and employees.

Operations Manager Responsibilities:
-Hiring, managing, and developing employees; conducting performance appraisals and managing employee performance
-Managing multiple services including: fertilization and spray operations, maintenance production, horticultural services and irrigation
-Ensuring customer satisfaction
-Scheduling and making regular visits to meet customers; reviewing quality and production
-Building relationships with owners, property managers, general contractors and subcontractors as a representative
-Managing tools and equipment delivery, storage, operation and maintenance
-Ensuring operational safety and efficiency at all times
-Ensuring that employees are both results oriented and able to operate as a team
-Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity

Position Requirements:
Required:
-Minimum 2-5 years managing people, equipment and operations
-Experienced with computer programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
-Strong work ethic
-Effective written and oral communication skills
-Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
-Customer service experience

Preferred:
-Bachelors degree in Agriculture/Landscape discipline

-Ability to speak Spanish a plus
