Manage relationships for an assigned set of current Iron Mountain customers to ensure satisfaction with service and Iron Mountain programs, positioning the relationship for further growth. Represent Iron Mountain’s information management value proposition and educate customers of Iron Mountain solutions. Proactively manage customer programs through opportunity identification, renewal strategy, and issue management. Assigned customer base may be single or multi-city based and may cross all core Iron Mountain product lines. Customer communications will be primarily phone based although on-site customer interactions may be necessary.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- BS/BA or equivalent
- 4 years minimum experience in a customer facing, service oriented position emphasizing a service or leadership role focusing on relationship management across multiple business lines
- Proven experience building internal and external customer relationships, navigating across an organization and growing current customer business base through internal partnerships.
- Experience should include engaging and meeting with professional level customer contacts
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats
- Proficiency in PC applications to include Microsoft Office Suite
This role is required to have general business acumen and understand Iron Mountain’s solution offerings and its competitive environment. It is also key to have a deep understanding of Iron Mountain’s services, programs, workflows and processes across all lines of business and an understanding of the procedures of other departments.
Required to resolve sometimes complex problems using analysis of data from both inside IM and the customer. May need to evaluate novel situations and solve with creative solutions that may have no precedent.
Role acts as primary point of contact to customer with a direct impact on the business through that customer. Impact is through their role and those of closely related roles. Role is “face” to customer and impacts customer and possibly market perspective of IM products and services.
