Monster MediaWorks manages consumer web properties and business lines that complement Monster’s recruitment business. We are seeking a top Key Account Manager to work with our key and target accounts. The ideal candidate will need to be extremely client-focused, detail-oriented, high-energy, efficient, and preferably have online experience. Essential Functions:
- Demonstratable track record of carrying and over-achieving against a quota.
- Identify both Lead Generation and Brand Display opportunities through prospecting into new accounts as well as growing existing accounts.
- Ability to sell multiple online media products simultaneously.
- Actively and Effectively Manage Existing Business: Understanding where to prioritize effort and activity for highest return, Identifying Opportunity as well as Risk, Understanding ROI analysis and performance reporting, Conducting Quarterly Business Reviews, Maintaining 0% churn, etc.
- Analyze data to ensure campaigns are flawlessly implemented and effectively optimized to ensure campaigns meet or exceed client target metrics for success
- Coordinate sales calls, meetings and presentations; create and delivers customized presentations.
- Expand customer relationships through effective management of account performance and through a high degree of follow-through and communication
- Expand client relationships laterally and above the primary contact to ensure successful campaign launch, optimization, and renewal.
- Effectively manage a pipeline: Building, developing and managing a qualified sales funnel of opportunities. .
- Accurately forecast opportunities and risks. Identify possible threats to sales opportunities, and how to overcome them.
- Experience working with both agencies as well as client direct.
- Commitment to growing and maintaining industry expertise across Lead Generation, Brand Display, Client Business Environment.
- Serve as a resource for client questions, creative specs, media plans and campaign reports.
- Ability to Link Monster’s solutions to stated business needs, solidifying Monster’s value proposition versus the competition.
- Collaborate with multiple internal teams including Operations, Marketing, and Product within Monster’s portfolio of sites to deliver success and ROI for our clients
- Maintain organized archives of sales and marketing collateral, contracts, contacts, project status, renewal dates and campaigns
Qualifications:
- BA/BS and four (4) years sales and account management and/or client service experience
- Two (2) years experience within an online lead generation environment is preferred
- Sell at all levels in an organization, and adept at working cross functionally through Monster to deliver on complex and Global Solutions
- Demonstrated knowledge of online advertising and emerging industry trends; ability to evaluate campaigns and recommend changes to optimize performance
- Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
- Passion for outstanding client service
- Excellent detail-oriented, accurate analytical, follow-through, and project management skills
- Strong financial tracking/reporting skills for billing reconciliations
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Proven track for success and desire for growth
- Enthusiasm, high energy and unafraid to “roll up your sleeves”
- Proficient in MS Office to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
