We have a great opportunity for a natural Account Manager who can also generate new business sales, to join the Insurance team within our Credit Services business. Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an Account Manager (with some business development responsibility)
- Manage a portfolio of clients within the Insurance sector to protect existing revenues and grow a sales portfolio by an agreed amount.
- Identify growth opportunities within the client base from new and existing services.
- Accurately report sales revenues and financial forecasts as required.
- Extend existing and new products into new market areas and client base by approaching new prospects, presenting, writing proposals and closing the sale.
- Ensure that all existing and new clients are properly contracted and relevant management information is kept up to date.
- Work with product development team to support the development of additional revenue from existing high potential clients, through the release of new products and services.
- Identify and close new business from companies within the Insurance sector in order to achieve pre agreed sales targets
- Work closely with people from across the Experian business to identify potential opportunities
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Touchpoints and experience within the Insurance Industry
- Solid Sales experience with business development skills
- Experience of dealing with large client accounts (£100k to £1million+)
- Confident and persuasive verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence internal and client stakeholders
- Knowledge and understanding of the client buying process
- Effective negotiation skills
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Experian core services
