Active is placing an ever increasing focus on international expansion and is seeking to grow and scale its sales team by appointing an Account Manager, focusing on Sports, Youth Education clients throughout Europe.

Reporting to our Sales Director, EMEA, and working closely together with Actives UK Sports, Youth Education Sales, Marketing and Support teams, you will be responsible for maintaining and renewing existing clients, cross-selling and up-selling Actives products and services, and thereby growing our loyal customer base and associated revenues.

We are looking for a driven sales team member, with excellent customer service, proven account management and coordination skills, and a high level of enthusiasm. Your success will be based on your ability to work with the team to retain and grow current accounts within the UK and Ireland. Previous sales experience in addition to technology sales experience is desirable.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales (90%)
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, including renewing expiring contracts
- Promoting and selling additional online technology applications and services
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and operations targets as outlined by management
- Owning and reporting pipeline development and sales forecasting
- Building trust, loyalty and solid long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Keeping rolling calendars/task lists for all clients, to ensure their requirements are met throughout the year, thereby maximising event success and ROI.
- Understanding current clients business issues and buying motives
- Conducting needs analysis for clients
- Delivering the right solution for clients evolving business requirements
- Provide leadership in Active Network product knowledge, including delivery of online product training to clients
- Create and conduct product demonstrations, presentations and proposals
- On a case by case basis travel to and participate in/volunteering at sports events

Operations (10%)
- Provide regular sales and activity reports
- Enter and maintain sales and client information into CRM
- Attend 1-1s with manager
- Attend team meetings

Required Skills and Experience
- 2+ years B2B sales / consulting experience with a proven successful track record
- Ability to deliver on growth, selecting and qualifying opportunities, and achieving sales objectives with customer accounts
- Knowledge of the client product life cycle process
- Ability to proactively moving a sale from start to finish
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer-focused, strong communication, presentation and organizational skills
- Articulate and poised, goal oriented, self-motivated team player
- Natural drive with a loyal, strong, and proactive work ethic
- Working knowledge of Internet, Excel, Word, Outlook, CRM (Oracle / Salesforce), etc.
- Ability to quickly learn, use and understand new technology
- Knowledge of the UK and Irish endurance sports, youth education markets desirable
- Active interest and participation in sports desirable
- Must be an entrepreneurial team oriented person that thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced sales environment, achieving personal and business goals
