Institutional Banking Markets (IBM) is responsible for the provision of products and services to nearly 3000 major corporate, institutional and government clients. This is achieved through origination, structuring and execution of on and off balance sheet products that are enhanced through the efficient application of taxation, accounting, risk and capital management technologies. Institutional Banking Markets is the primary face to the market for all complex financing and advisory functions for the Bank's corporate and government clients.

Transaction Banking Solutions (TBS) is a specialised sales and account management unit within IBM. Our offering delivers a robust platform for cross-selling the full suite of Institutional and Global Markets product within IBM's Total Capital solutions architecture

We provide Transaction Banking expertise to Australia's leading Corporates, delivering advice and guidance to enable clients to optimise their working capital. We are underpinned by innovative technology, industry specialisation, and a premium customer service model.

1. Manage a portfolio of diverse clients who utilise the bank's Transaction Banking product set.

2. Develop close working relationships with clients to gain a thorough understanding of the key business drivers.

3. Develop close working relationships with Relationship Executives to gain an intimate understanding of their clients' business/industry in order to optimise service, cross sell opportunities, client retention and profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

Contribution to Profit / Business:

1. Growing the wallet share of each client and product segment in line with strategies designated by Transaction Banking Leadership Team.

2. Grow market share within the industry segments your portfolio is aligned to through networking, attending forums and pitching the banks value proposition and market leading industry knowledge.

3. Develop close working relationships with key client executives and other staff to gain a thorough understanding of your key client's business drivers.

4. Implementing strategies to maximise profitability of clients, enhance cross-sell ratios, and ensure client retention.

5. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with the relevant Business Development and Product teams to optimise cross-sell opportunities and referral outcomes.

6. Monitor and develop knowledge base around transactional banking market in terms of competition and industry changes e.g. understanding Australian EFTPOS acquiring process and keeping up to date with Scheme rules and regulations

7. Extract and report data relating to your portfolio of accounts to your Manager ensuring key KPI's and role objectives are measured and monitored on a monthly basis.
