Account Manager/Delivery Manager - Energy Trading, German Speaking
Location: Dusseldorf
Our Client a Tier 1 Consultancy is looking for an Account Manager, preferably with experience of working in the Energy trading Sector.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the entire delivery for all units within the account as a single point of contact to customer
- Must maintain healthy relationships with the customer CIO, CIO's direct reports and all key stakeholders within the account
- Enable highest customer satisfaction levels
- Enable account mining from the existing engagement to enable significant growth
- Understand competition's share, enable penetration into competition's strong hold area via innovative ideas and commercially appealing models.
- Understanding competition's strengths/weakness to position accordingly
- Manage the delivery leads and units within the account efficiently
- Responsible for the targeted goals in terms of portfolio financials, quality and as result customer satisfaction
- Overall contact for the customer in the view of costs, timing, project performance and project quality
- Leading an international Team within a Matrix organization
- Managing all aspects of the deliverables/operations within the account
- Single point of contact to customer and managing their expectations
Desired Skills Experience
- Engineering/technical degree or equivalent qualifications, advanced degree in business desired
- Strong leadership skills in a dynamic environment
- Successful experience in the Account Management. Minimum of 3 years of account management
- Sound professional experience 5 years in Project Management
- Sound management experience 2 years in one or more of the following areas in Finance or Trading: Finance Management, Trading exposure
- Preferred experience in working with offshore teams
- Passionate and talented in commercial negotiations based on substantial knowledge and high cost consciousness
- Highly results-oriented and proactive in problem solution
- Highly team-oriented and able to deal with employees at all levels in the organization
- Brilliant planning and organizational capability
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written, presentation, listening, empathy, clarification of issues, mediation, negotiation)
- Fully customer-oriented (internal and external customers)
- Fluent in English and German
- Willingness to operate from Dusseldorf, Germany
