Account Officer, Structured Finance
Reporting to the Head of Collateral Management, you will analyze commercial and risk aspects of the proposed new transactions, within the framework of credit committee approvals and the Bank’s general procedures. You will propose an optimized deal structure (where applicable); manage and monitor day-to-day events throughout the life of the transaction; and alert the Relationship Manager and Collateral Management of any risk – potentially - endangering the underlying asset or identified source or repayment. You will work in close cooperation with Relationship Managers and Credit Management in order to coordinate and leverage on the expertise of each party. You will interface occasionally with Group Risk, Compliance and Legal.
Pre-requisites:
- Diploma or Degree holder
- At least 1 – 2 years of relevant work experience
- Candidates with credit exposure (credit risks, security documentation, etc.), collateral management experience, including knowledge of inventory financing, price risk would be advantageous
- Good knowledge of trade / bills operations
- Possess good team spirit and able to work independently
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
