Account Operations Executive

Our client is a highly successful and International organisation specialising in manufacturing and distributing communications equipment.

The Role:

As our Account Operations Executive, you are responsible to drive for continuous improvement and to enhance the supply chain between our Client and its key business partners in the regions assigned to you. Operating hand-in-hand with the relevant sales staff in the regions and supported by the supply chain back office teams you will develop and implement supply chain practices that will (a) Lead to improvements of on time delivery to our business partners (b) Enable a predictable flow of products from our Clients factories all the way to the end-user of our products to ensure the highest customer satisfaction and (c) Optimize inventory positioning through the establishment of the optimal combination of push and pull supply chain mechanisms and through leveraging inventory and sell-out data from the business partners. In addition you will seek for ways to simplify and/or automate operational processes. Overall this can be summarized as the “Collaborative Supply Chain”.


Duties Responsibilities:

The positions responsibilities are:

· To drive implementation activities geared towards driving market growth. This includes development of project plans, identification of action items/risks/issues, establishing resources requirements, development of mitigation strategies. Provide status to the Supply Chain back-office functions.

· You will be held accountable to a timely and high quality implementation.

· Responsible for ensuring assigned accounts are achieving established performance targets and if not, partnering with relevant team(s) to identify and implement plans to correct, assuming overall responsibility for any customer escalated issues and resolve them to the involved parties’ satisfaction.

· Track day-to-day operational issues, undertake weekly pipeline and service reviews with the customers and sales and take proactive steps to ensure customer loyalty and retention

· Build and nurture strong trusting working relationships with customers, gaining in-depth knowledge of customer needs to ensure extended and profitable business, as well as create awareness and demonstrate the value of propositions.

· Provides management with continuous market intelligence through monthly reports, observations of customer needs and competitive activities; developing and maintaining a Customer Account Plan for each assigned customers

· Work collaboratively interfacing with other Business units globally, to ensure customers deliverables are on time, of a high quality, provides strategic advice to help solve supply issues while remaining profitable.

· Understands and manages a multiple Supply Chain solution/environment.


Work Experience:

· System knowledge on Windows applications, ERP database (Oracle 11i) Order Management.

· Manage customer relationships and individual engagements with a strong focus on excellence – high level of accountability at the individual level; service and support that exceeds customer needs; recognition of employee contributions to drive individual and team performance

· Must have an affinity with telecommunications technology preferably those in corded/cordless office/home products.

· Having worked with CPFR projects or similar end to end supply chain approaches

· Initiating and driving further efficiency improvements.

· 2 – 3 years in a similar position

· Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

· Able to work within a team and deal with a broad range of people at every level.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

· End-to-end supply chain knowledge

· Requires regular travel

Education:

HBO degree or equivalent experience
