ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- include the following:
*Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer.
*Researches discrepancies in payments, deductions from retail and wholesale accounts
* Month end reconciliation of customer account A/R postings to monthly deposit totals.Generates and mails monthly customer invoice statements.
*Researches and processes customer claims of invoice payment.Researches NSF checks and contacts customers to arrange for repayment.
*Answers accounts receivable phone inquiries and follows up.Performs customers account collection duties by calling and/or mailing correspondence to customers as necessary in order to insure customers maintain their account as current (invoice paid within terms).
*Asists with related special projects as required.
