Account Supervisor (on Healthcare acct) Job in San Francisco 94105, California US

Summary:

Key to day-to-day contact on account and with client. Manage the account by helping lead strategic discussions, brief development and research. Reports to Account Director and supervises the junior team. And above all, be an advocate for breakthrough work.  Help the agency create, sell and execute great work. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·       Day-to-day management responsibility for brands/products, as the key client contact

·       Oversee and develop business reviews, brand plans, develop and present proactive ideas

·       Lead meetings, as appropriate

·       Collaborate with Strategy to co-author briefs and brief creatives

·       Ensure work is on-strategy, breakthrough, appropriate for brand and approved by senior management

·       Focus groups, tracking studies, competitive analysis oversight

·       Management of timelines, budget compliance, legal and network approvals, talent costs, cost consultant

·       Budget/billing oversight

·       Management of junior team (AE and/or AC), training, coaching, one-on-ones, reviews

·       Spearhead all production

·       Shoots, pre-pros, press checks and proofs

 

Qualifications:

 

·       Healthcare advertising/marketing experience preferred but not mandatory

·       Solid knowledge of production: broadcast, digital, print, events

·       Knowledge of media fundamentals (media plans, buys/revisions, creative rotations, material insertions, deliverables)

·       Knowledge of research (focus groups, tracking studies, etc)

·       PowerPoint, Excel, Word

·       Strong presentation and writing skills

·       Management/team building skills

·       General knowledge of advertising in the marketing function and marketing issues

·       Detail-oriented and organized

·       Minimum of 5 years of agency experience

·       Passion for advertising and positive attitude
