Hays Marketing are proud to represent a market leading global professional services organisation. Based in the heart of Berkshire, they are currently seeking an Account Support Associate to assist in the project management of client teams and their activities on non-audit tasks. You will be joining the fast growing and successful commercial service line with opportunities to work with a wide range of high profile clients, teams and internal stakeholders. It is important to point out that this is not a role suitable for qualified or aspiring accountants, but instead is geared towards supporting the engagement team on a number of valued business projects. It is however important that applicants possess strong numeracy skills in addition to first class literacy and communication skills.
We are ideally looking for candidates who have experience in previous Project Management related roles and who are comfortable working and communicating with senior internal stakeholders and external clients.

Responsibilities include:
· Day to day management of client teams, their activities and service delivery.
· Reduce the amount of time and costs that technical staff spend on non technical activities, demonstrated engagement efficiencies.
· Enhance communication and client service by acting as a central point of contact for all activities.
· Identify, disseminate and communicate appropriate knowledge to key stakeholders.
· Introduce and drive new initiatives throughout, ensuring compliance and greater efficiency.
· Challenge the way the team works to ensure that the appropriate resource is used for the engagement teams, including ongoing management and review.
· Being flexible supportive with requests for assistance
· Be proactive in raising the profile of the ASA role, ensuring maximum utilisation and personal development.
· Prepare supporting analysis for fee billings and assist with monitoring of credit collection.
· Prepare and distribute material for meetings, facilitate discussion, distribute minutes and follow up on action.

Your People Responsibilities include:
· Become the "go-to" person by the teams for training assistance.
· Day-to-day communication and management of tasks performed by the Global Talent Hub
· Ensure delivery to agreed timetables and deadlines.
· Identify, review and submit knowledge to appropriate databases
· Manage and set expectations of stakeholders and clients as appropriate

Your Skills
· 'A' Levels and/or further education qualification e.g. HND
· Degree qualified, preferred though not essential
· Preferred experience in a professional services environment
· Project management, plan, manage and prioritise work and complete projects on an accurate and timely basis
· Ability to pro-actively manage upwards to ensure that project deliverables meet the agreed timetable
· Strong customer service focus and ability to anticipate team and client requirements and needs
· Strong numerical, analytical and attention to detail skills
· Receptive to change and a flexible approach
· Strong PC skills in WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT
